Seriously though, sometimes on high TC, my system will lock up (I think it's when I get close enough to something to load new textures or objects), and by the time it responds, I'm driving a sub down main street. Lesson? Slow down TC when nearing land.

I know what you mean. I started playing DiD with SH2 in the Atlantik! campaign, and I'd much rather report "no kills" than "lost at sea with all hands".
