:crickets:
Do you know the history of Falcon 4.0: Allied Force and the company that was formed to develop it? They were a group of modders who got a license to develop the orignal game and fix all the nasties. Is that what you think will happen with SH5?

so, no more questions need to be answered? that means, some dumb, green and hopeful sim fans first need to buy this game, to give the missing answers??? i dont see the sense in your statement.

its cheeky, not to let us know, what is exspecting us - questions where asked more than enough. the mainstream may not care (but even they might be more interested, as one might think) about details. but that does not legitimate ubi, to make such a bad information policy.

i am a more ambitious customer, than most of the main folks and want to know, what i am buying for 50 bucks. its not like buying some icecream, which might be not that tasty, as i exspected.

For crying out loud, give the devs a little credit.

Oh and please realize there are no stupid questions, just stupid answers.

These questioners had every right and reason to ask these questions, even if you would not have asked that.

at last a good response and i totally agree with you

people seem to moan and moan on here even before anyone has even got/reviewed the full sim yet.

No. Does it matter?

So now whoever is looking forward to the game (me included) is "dumb" and "green"? Thanks for the insult.

Yeah, it's incredibly unfair, considering the touching and admirable level of respect and maturity you're showing the devs in the first place.

ay ay ay urfisch.

I understand your feelings (i guess) but please, come down back to earth. That lol'ing@everybody aint doin you no good, my friend.

Please consider taking some distance to SHV, do the dishes, relax with a Movie and take the wife up to cloud number seven. Multiple times. edit. Or the other way around.

after, its all way more relaxed.

I have been there yesterday, and a break, a shift of Viewpoint helped me.

it is obvious im saying you will have the game long before you get your questions answered from ubi so stop thinking they will finally answer your questions.

you can continue asking the questions if you want to but ubi has told us all they are going to at this point

so if ubi isnt telling you anything where else can you get the answers to your questions but from someone who has the game on their computer
(re: wait till someone buys it and they can answer your questions)

or you can call the phsycic hotline

I hope the devs dont read this thread...they DO put alot of dedication into its creation and go into great lengths to make the best sim, but like so many other things they are restricted by boundries not under their control.

Absolutely no disagreement with this statement...assuming that SH5 turns out to be every bit as comprehensive as Falcon 4.0: AF. I have stated elsewhere that if SH5 turns out to be a proper study sim along the lines of Falcon 4.0 or similar games, then I think the majority of player concerns surrounding the one U-boat type will quickly disappear. Because for SH5 to achieve the same status as Falcon 4: AF, then all the major issues that have been raised over the last few years regarding the gameplay elements will have been addressed. I mean, one can't just limit the playable models to one to claim study sim status.

If, however, SH5 turns out not to be a true study sim, then your comparison is apples and oranges: you may as well ask Lada drivers to stop complaining about having no air conditioning because their cars still have the same number of wheels as Rolls Royces.

Now remind me, how many pages is the Falcon 4.0: AF manual?

760

I think the ongoing comparisons to Falcon 4.0: AF need to stop until we can assess how detailed and comprehensive SH5 is with just the one U-boat type...and this means beyond the pretty 3D interior...only then can we be sure that we are comparing apples and apples.
