How come I don't hear all these folks that are against term limits trying to make it possible for the President to serve more than 2 terms?

I think you have your head up the butt - since you do NOT reside here - and have NO CLUE of local conditions.
Isn't Enigma from Delaware?

Strange that a sitting congresshuman can still collect public funds and use their public office to campaign for themselves for another political position and this is not a violation of the Hatch Act?

Ok, for the record, I don't agree with the 22nd amendment.

However since it is an amendment to the constitution and would require 2/3rd and 3/4ths to change, there is little use in complaining about it.

And since term limits would also involve an amendment to the constitution, I seriously doubt any congresshumen would ever vote themselves out of a job.

Think it was accidental that congress limits the terms of the President but not themselves?

Nothing involving politicians is accidental, no matter what they claim

If a the difficulties of a constitutional amendment are enough to stop us from complaining, why are we even discussing something even more difficult (namely fixing our broken political system)?

"I am resigning my position to run for...."

not

"I am resigning to take my new seat as..."
