Mauz, that is not a "patrol" that is a deploy... that means it calls a "sink" mission I think, and those have absurdly high totals be default... wonder if that is a problem.

I broke the loop!!! Finally!!!

Here's the summary:

Patrol 1: East China Sea
Patrol 2: East China Sea
Patrol 3: East China Sea
Patrol 4: East China Sea
Refused new sub, stayed at PH, ALL four patrol to identical location, all of them successful by sinking well over 10,000 tons in the assigned area.
Patrol 5: East China Sea
Patrol 6: East China Sea
Patrol 7: East China Sea
Accepted new sub, transfer to Brisbane. Patrols 5-8 to same location 300 mi SE of 1-4, but still East China Sea. All were successful by sinking over 10,000 tons in the assigned area.
Patrol 8: East China Sea

Assigned for patrol 9: Bismarck Sea.

Now let's see how often I have to patrol there.

Is there any place/time more likely to see this bug? The interaction between PatrolObjectives, Flotilla, and the dynamic campaign files is... complex to say the least. It might literally be as simple as a copy and paste job. At some point in building the campaign, they might have copied another section and altered it, but not changed a date or something like that. So very easy to do and so very hard to find.

I am on patrol 16, have been sent to East China Sea 14 times out of the 16.
Am going to try and finish game, but would love to see other parts of the world at some point.
