Basically, I would like the bottom interface to behave like the sidebar in my GWX version, when you point the mouse at the bottom, it brings up the bottom interface and when I withdraw the mouse, it scrolls out of sight so I have a full screen.
A Mod that I can install via JSGME and is compatible with GWX ?!
Thanks for the PM mate be sure to let me know of further developments

This is what i have installed via JSGME and in what order as well.

GWX-16km Atmosphere
GWX-Main movie - Das Boot
GWX-No Medals on Crew
Mav's GWX-addon Mod+update
FullVolnMod
Mav's GWX - Integrated Orders

that is ontop a clean 1.4b GWX install. I'm using the resolution fix as well, but deleting those mentioned files in my mod folder would leave that out of the modding and that should then not crash it.

My suspicion without knowing - leans towords the 16km atmosphere mod. my mod is based on that mod being installed, so that might have influence...??
Hi and thanks for info; I didn't have the 16km Atmosphere installed so could do that and try your Mod again and see what happens. Cheers.

Vinceor - the FullVoll mod is a mod that changes/adds the recognition manual pages with a color presentation of the volnurable zones of a specific ship.. aka where the engine room is, the fuel bunker, the ammo store etc. etc. - This worked like a charm in the stock game and NYGM. GWX has an improved damage system and will not work with these Zones. BUT....from testing with manual TDC i find my torpedos to be quite effective when shot at those zones anyway. So i thought what the "#% and changed that mod to be installable with GWX - mind it only adds VISUAL zones in the recognitions manual and will not alter any damage zones or whatnot.

Someone els pointed to a much much better pdf file including these zones as well.

I have that printed out here now and does not use the mod anymore...how's that for wasted work..

Okay, got it running and this how.
Unzip the Mav's Mod folder then click new folder, delete all the stuff next to the Data folder [but not the Data one !].
Delete the Bkgr1.tga file and here is the path to it ..
Mav's Mod_data_Menu_Gui_Layout_Bkgr1.tga
Next, move the folder to Mods folder in Silent Hunter III
Next, click and open JSGME [two cogs icon] then transfer it over to activate it.
Incidentally, I also have 16km Atmosphere and Main Movie activated.
A great Mod especially if you like the larger Dials

BUT .. the Officer icons at the bottom left of the screen are still there ! ..
next question is how to get them to scroll down with the rest so you end up with a full screen ? [Grrrr .. please do not tell me it's part of the Bkgr1.tga file !]

Silly me ! Re-read your description and the Officer icons are unaffected with this Mod .. OOPS.

Would now like Santa to come down the chimney, negotiate thru the stove and hand me the 'recipe' on how to banish those dam Officer icons.

Okay...thanks Kpt. (PM received)
I believe the 'Bkgr1.tga file' will only be the background colour.
Here's hoping you have a happy hogmanay (excuse the spelling) lol

Hmm...slight prob...I have a small 'hatched' box (approx 10mm x 100mm) just above where the original dials were... anyone else experienced this ? :hmm:

Other than that it's working fine
