Kriller2,

Ok i installed the new files u sent us for caustics and roll pitch. The caustics looks awesome, but one thing i was wondering about is the diverate portion of pe2 u had put in earlier, i have that installed too. Obviously it was overwritten by these new files, maybe its not working right for me but id rather have the diverate draft on the subs than what it was with this pitch roll files.
Thats just my obs, and opinion. Other than that its a beauty, i picked up a 9800gtx and sh4 1.5 is running now with no problems with crashing for me now, so im a happy camper.

Is there any idea when you guys will have a version compatible with with the new TM and 1.5?

Guess I should have checked on the mods to see if they had been made 1.5 compatible before I bought the expansion.......

As it stands I haven't even had the urge to touch SH4 since NSM doesn't work and TM and PE2 are not compatible

Or even better can you guys tell me how to take out whatever Environment Mod TM has in it to keep it from messing with PE2? It has a NSM mod with it albeit its only 3.1 but its better than no NSM at all.

Not trying to rush you guys, a perfect product requires perfection and perfection takes time. Keep up the good work guys!

just did a 4hour session with the new test stuff in a new campaign patrol, and absolutly nothing has come to my attention as a problem. No slowdowns on explosions, no slowdowns on high quality wakes, none at all. So drbeast i believe its cured atleast on my system. Oh and its finally a blast to play 1.5 without a crash.
The reflections are top notch, bubbles r working with all the subs ive tried with is great, same with the caustics are a definate improvement and nice. Right now i have a jap destroyer playing cat and mouse with me and its daylight and light fog, the immersion now with this mod is ridiculous.

been defcharged not to close just got my aft deck gun damaged but the camera shake is working as i remember it.

THe oil fires are working with no problems. and look awesome.
Cant think of anything else, but im in a hurry to get back to the boat.

My only question is in regards to the diverate part, with this new camera and caustics did this kind of copy over the changes diverate made, im thinking it did and it looks like the boats r sitting in the water more like stock than the modded way. Other than that this thing looks great to me and id say Release unless thiers more goodness to be had.

Hey dutch and team this is my activated mod list in 1.5 im not having any crashs nor problems that i know off, maybe something is overiding a part of a mod that should be thier idont know. But in the tmo part i did erase the scene.dat file and i believe another folder dealing with the shaders, but other than that is full install of all mods, like i said havent had any problems, and nsm4 classic seems to be working like it should, ive put over 50 thousands tons down, and everyship was unique and didnt go down like the stock ships do ie nsm4 way seems to be working

Where do I get those mods at? I thought that NSM4 was not compatible with 1.5? With the new TM installed and PE2 are you able to see the PE2 changes because I couldn't? I'll look around the forums and see if I can't find those mods myself but I might need alittle help. Thanks for the info!



EDIT: If I delete the files in TM that PE2 changes will that work? Or would it be best to copy and past all the PE2 files into the TM folder. Then how would I install it with the mod tool? Thanks so much for the help!

hey dutch,

Heres what ive always done with jsgme, essentially when u activate a mod ie tmo, then u activate another mod after that one, ie pe2, pe2 will overwrite what ever it conflicts with. so what ever is in pe2 and u activate it last it will overwrite all previous mods activated. If im wrong with this devs and tm sorry.

even before i deleted stuff out of tmo i saw all the new pe2 effects and nsm4 stuff also, it all has to do with the install order in jsgme.
In regards to nsm4 thier is no official version for 1.5 im using the one from 1.4 and dont seem to have anyproblems, maybe thier is problems but its not enough to keep me from enjoying the mods.

And that list of my mods on the previous post is the install order i have my mods in jsgme, tmo being first and the bubbles/camer rowpe2 file last

as far as finding the mods thier all on this forum, take a look at the stickied mods list at the top of the forum page, thats how i tracked most down.

Hi Jonesy, sounds good you like the new files with the bubles and caustics and yes the oil and shell effects are great and now the perfomance issue is solved thanks to Dr. Beast work to find out what caused the slowdowns, we are very near release. I will look into including the dive rate mod, but there was a problem with the diverate mod and TM, maybe it would be a good idea to finally take a look at what Ducimus has been doing with his overhaul and service packs :hmm:

@Nisgeis, I will take a look at the depthchage effects you send me now and be right back.

Expected ETA of this mod will probaly be the first of may I have to use some time on the compatibility of it with RFB and TM..

@ Dutch the NSM4 + special effects will be working with Sh 1.5 in the new PE2.1, but it's not released yet.

Well I don't know what or how I did it but it appears that I can now see PE2 with TM which is out standing!

Searched over an hour now, but I can't find this baby.

Sorry guys, black sonar here. I want to fix it badly, 'cause this mod is amazing.

Hi Kriller, It's been quite a while since I surfaced around here, being old and slow, I got lost in all the hoo ha of the addon (which i do not have) and can't find my way through the murk of the sh4 mods workshop forum any more, so i gave the game a miss for a few months, but i have returned and d/loaded the new PE 2... problem is, i have the awful white lines around my sub again, I remember a long time back the fix was an altered water shaders file (waterTranspPS.fx ??) that you gave me, do you by chance still have it?

Been testing this and it works great Nisgeis! It was my scene causing the slowdown. I think it's corrected now. testing the whole mod right now with all enabled and correcting bugs...

SH13 ! man that must be in 3d with touchable submarine intruments or something.. I hope he will be able to mod it with a better 3d moon! :rotfl:
