I like Win7 because I haven't had any problems at all running games...and you can set the compatibility to whatever OS you need to run a program.

Can't say I had any really bad experiences with Vista, but Win7 is just better all around.

As for games, they all pretty much work on Win7, it's usually Vista that I've seen
causing problems with games and hardware.

I had problems installing Ghost Recon and Battlefield 1942 on Vista.

After a couple hours of pulling hair out, I just gave up.

For gaming? Installers would crash all the time. Or I would get to 99% and it would quit.

I don't know if it's the computer or the OS...but I just don't like Vista. I hate the UI, compatibility, and it always runs really really slow for me.

Sounds more like hardware in that case.

At the same time how the software is developed is also a factor.There are so many different systems out there (different hardware components,codecs and such) as well as OS.Even companies that try and do a good bit of QA testing they can not possibly simulate every possible system.So someone out there is always going to have problems.And another factor is that many PC owners do not keep their many drivers up to date just one of those can not jiving can cause a problem.

It also depends on the software some software came out before Win 7 and 8 came along so they can not have even tested for those OS.

Every OS I have ever used had about the same amount quirks to be honest.None of them works perfectly 100% of the time.

Another PC at the house has Win 8 it seems just as useful as any previous OS to me.My wife has a Mac and that OS seems 100 times more intuitive than anything Microsoft can come up with.

Well I don't fly them exclusively. I fly every nation in WoWP. I need to play more actually but dogfighting stresses me out after a bit.

Wasteland Survival Guide
Section 1 Firearms (non energy based)

1) Colt M1911A1 good back up gun
2) Colt CAR-15 (XM177) with 10.5" barrel just because
3) AKM with sawn down barrel and stock and 40 round RPK mag for those conversations where you need to become a bit more convincing.
4) Pipe bombs because sometimes it is nice to pick pocket someone and give rather than steal.
5) SR-25 perfect for popping super mutant melons.
6) AK-103 for those times when you need kick down a door a say "Welcome to Russia"
7) RPK-47 garden variety LMG good for mowing down stuff
7) If you ask why there are two sevens and no nines you get shot in gut with this 590
8) M16A1 when you want to kick it old school
9) See number 7
