A conundrum if I ever heard it.

Alot more heart in "winning gritty"

Minnesota Vikings can tell you about that!
Last years 49ers and Giants could too.

The only final judgement is a win or a loss. Even if it was luck, or steller skill.

Seeya in the Bowl August, your Pats are objectively speaking, the best in the AFC.

My Niners on the other hand, may need a few breaks, and a breakout performance from Kaepernick.

I love the kid, but he is still a rookie starter, and the playoffs are an intense situation. Makes dumb rookie mistakes at times still, which in the playoffs will break your teams chances.

Good luck to all.

BTW, Niners vs Pats Bowl would be epic. Though me and August may kill each other before the 2 week bye is up if it happens

Nah, when your team has lost more super bowls than they have won you learn not to trash talk before hand. It's Bad Mojo.

(queue Stevie Wonder tune)

The Fastest Player in the History of Each NFL Franchise

I think it would be cool if each team sent its fastest player to the Pro Bowl for a race off, and the winner got some kind of bonus, like an extra draft pick...

Ray Lewis retiring after 17 years. Nice to have him play for those years but the game has taken it's toll. Time for others to play the position.

The Ravens will play our old ghost from years past....Colts.

Ray Lewis is a class act. A beast on the field, and a good man off of it. He does alot of charity work, be it appearances or donations.

He caught alot of bad press with that murder trial, but he is a hall of famer, first ballot, and great for his community.

Baltimore will miss him, but at least he is getting out before he is a half cripple, with one concussion too many, or a blown out knee etc. He deserves to enjoy the fruits of his labors.

Maybe he can get into sportscasting. He is likeable and credible enough.

Maybe FOX can get rid of that monotone borefest Troy Aikman.

(Great QB, cynical jerk when calling a game, I though Joe Buck was bad with concentrating on negatives too much)

Ray needs to become a defensive coach.

Yeah, but I worry about the disease I researched and named.

Mike Singletary syndrome.

Where a great player runs a team the wrong way and just splats against the wall ruining their legacy. I mean he was an awesome player, scary, dominating.

SF 49ers under Singletary as coach in 2010 was 5-10.
(edit:yeah 15 games, he was fired before the last week, they blew out the cards the last week by 30 points under an interim coach)
Under Harbaugh, with pretty much the same team, the next year they were 13-3, and almost (shoulda been ) NFC champs.

To sum it up, having outright skill, does not equate to being able to teach or lead.

(No disrespect to Mike Singletary intended, him and "the Fridge" made the bears a fun team to watch in my formative days.

It's time for the coach shuffle, all coaches move to the next team to the right.

Other than calling a few plays the coach inspires and leads. Ray Lewis spent his entire career inspiring and leading the defensive team. I think Ray could handle it. And if you as a player under his coaching fail to perform will have their head crushed personally by Ray.

As far as head bunting goes ... Ray has to remember that as a coach he doesn't have a helmet on anymore

I pick Bengals. Texans have past cruch depth three weeks ago.

Packers. Ponder's the weakest link. If he had better receivers, I'm picking Vikes.

Colts.

Seahawks, but this is a toughy. I think the Seahawks have more quality wins, but they aren't at home. They are pretty even though. Flip of the coin.

My guesses?

Packers to play the Niners.

Skins to play the Falcons.

In the AFC I got Houston and Baltimore, yes, the overrated sack of maggots named luck will not have luck this week.

On a side note, Luck is a joke. Play a real team, you too Atlanta, products of an easy schedule.
