There's a brief mention of your problem in this thread. See the fourth post. It seems you might try different graphics card drivers.

It's your graphics card. The 9200 isn't well supported for SHIII. It gets even worse for a 9200 mobility, which is what I have in my laptop.

As far as I know, there are no driver solutions for this issue.

I thought somethjing like that.
If it werent that my GF crapped out on me I never put this card back in. (It has been in for a few painstaking days before...)

Why did I ever get an ATI in the first place...

Because they kick total ass and my 9800 pro is STILL keeping up with the latest games.

How old is it, and i still play this game on 4x AA and 4x AF.
Even plays BF2 smooth as.

My thoughts exactly.

Looks like an Iceburg with the sun on the other side so as to make it look black from your subs view.

@ Kaleun_Thomsen

Are you sure your not Waaaayy up north in those pics? :hmm:

I think your crew just got the hots for "North to Alaska" ( no Jonny Horton here :rotfl: ) and overshot their mark.

Edit: That last pic looks a lot like "Moby Dick"

It actually casts a reflection onto the water, I don't think an overheating graphics card would cause something like that?
Weird, might just be a graphic glitch, have you tried with other display drivers? :hmm:
Right.. I looked closer at it today and saw reflections... hm... I'll look for some new drivers for my aging redeon 9100.

I might have been, but I dont remember the name of the harbor I took this picture in anymore.

I found myself with a terrible headache, a hangover on top of that in an alley of the harbor.... and my wallet was gone too.
Musta been those harbor chicks again.

Arrgh! Its the monolith from 2010!! My god ,its full of stars!!!

I get artifacting if I look directly up at the sky on the bridge, during the day its fine but at night theres a sinister looking black-ish hole-ish thing looming menacingly overhead, and looks much worse in heavy cloud.
