Well, that answers one question I had. I wasn't certain about whether or not I should give any of the ships dazzle paint; now, I think I won't. It would be really nice if there was a website discussing merchant ship camoflage of the time period, but to my knowledge there isn't one. I've basically been relying on black and white photos of cargo ships that were taken between 1941 and 1945, as well as a couple of paintings.
I did the textures for the small merchant, transport, and a few others today, so I think the mod will be available earlier than expected.

Darn it! I love Dazzle. My preference would be to put as much of it in as you can while retaining some level of realism. Now I'll spend the next few days trying to find some sort of precedent for having Dazzle in WW2, LOL.

Okay; the mod's all but finihed. It contains five skins each for all the vessels covered in the original Merchant Variety Pack, except for the C-3, which has one skin:

T-3
T-2
Small Tanker
Transport
C-3
C-2
Small Merchant
Coastal Merchant
Victory Ship

It also has five new liberty ship skins, including one skinned as a transport conversion. With this version you'll no longer encounter hospital ships, since the game engine would automatically add weapons to them. All vessels are a lot less colorful, but they are still visible at about the same distance.

Mike helps me distribute my larger mods, since I'm behind a dialup connection and don't have the time to upload it to all the modding sites. You can trust him - it is, in fact, released

Yup, servers always tend to go down when I'm not in the office. The database was corrupted. All fine now again!
