I'm currently playing Vanilla SH3, with JSGME and a couple of texture mods.
I have the NYGM mod in the MODS folder but deactivated. |

One of the texture mods may be overwriting the display command.
Try uninstalling everything in JSGME and commence a new career. |

I tried re-installing the game today, and tried running it with no mods whatsoever and it still wouldn't show anything.
(Sorry for the confusion, it's always the small things that dont work, but tend to be the most annoying in my opinion, hehe ![]() |

Did you delete the SH3 folder in MyDocs and perform a registry clean before reinstalling?

I did delete the folder in my documents...
But I didn't do anything to the registry. Might have thought Steam does it when you uninstall something. |

It might be a Steam thing. Did a search and found this thread, see the second post:http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=208012

I would suggest you run a registry scan using the free trial version of RegVac http://superwin.com/regvac.htm CrapCleaner IMO is almost on a par with the above and is free http://www.evonsoft.com/crap-cleaner.htm |

I am wondering if it may be related to Steam

I honestly couldn't say never having used a Steam version but you may well be right.

Hehe, well I tried uninstalling it again, and this time I removed everything from the registry. But alas no luck. At this point I think I'll just leave it. But thanks for the time on trying to solve this anyways!
![]() :Also doing that thing it told me too in that other forum on steam didn't work either. |

I've got a way around it for now anyways.
I just enable NYGM mod, go into game, choose an emblem, save, back out, disable mod, go back into the game and the Emblem stays on the Sub. So at least that works ![]() |

A bit of a shame but at least your workaround allows you to play.
