Responsible parents. It all comes down to adult supervision with parents/guardians who teach their children safety and common sense.

Donna, exactly. I grew up with toy guns, not real, and was still taught proper gun safety and etiquette. I taught my son proper gun safety and etiquette. He knew at 6 years old how to behave with a gun, even a toy gun.

That just might depend on whether you're a giver or a taker.

The law saying you have to be 18 to buy Spray Paint.

But we do (did) that anyway.

Yes. We would paint our toy guns and airsoft guns black. I even put black electrical tape around the muzzle break on my M4 so I could get more air behind the BB.

Me and my friends knew enough to NOT go pointing them at anybody (except for each other....because Airsoft...that's why) and we knew our gun safety.

All I know about Airsoft is that in South Korea you can buy them(and copies) for dirt cheap.Several guys that had been stationed in Korea had some and we'd get drunk and run around the barracks shooting other people with Airsoft guns.

The Korean ones had no bright plastic.

Personally at least in a country where you can buy a real firearm for the same price why on earth an adult would by Airsoft is beyond me.

Real life functioning Mosin-Nagant 91/30 or toy Airsoft? Hmmmmmm.

Side note some criminals have painted real firearms bright colors to make them look like toys.

I say ban breeding of humans fluoride in the drinking water for everyone it will also help prevent cavities in your teeth no guarantee on your brain.

It depends on what it is I suppose. I bought the Thompson's because I'll never own a real one and I always loved that gun. The airsoft ones are actually pretty nice with metal casings, etc. I also didn't pay list price and can shoot it all I want without causing trouble.

Yeah that is true I can understand their appeal overseas. If you like the FN SCAR you can not buy one here in the US in effect you can (in most states semi-auto) if you plunk down about 3 grand I saw one the other day for $2,350 brand new an H as well 7.62x51mm it was light as a feather and I just about bought it but then realized that my wife would most likely make me spend the night on the front porch with it(not because she dislikes firearms but unplanned spending) .Of course even in the US an original M1 or M1928 Thompson would likely cost about 20 or 30 grand and you'd have to find a class 3 dealer and pay the tax if wanted the real McCoy and i suspect the few in private hands are not for sale.

An Airsoft SCAR-H costs over $400.00 unless you buy it factory direct in Korea cut out the middle man.
