Now that makes more sense. One option is to leave them at home.

Have had a great time today. Parked north of the harbour and walked across the Harbour Bridge. Caught a ferry on the harbour to Watsons Bay where the wife and I had a relaxing seafood lunch at the pub right by the wharf with a view back towards the bridge. Couple of pale ales before heading back to Circular Quay on the ferry. Got some good shots from the bridge and out on the ferry so will post them when I return home.

Now that sounds like the sort of 'busy' day I would enjoy

From the Harbour Bridge:
RMS boat shipping buoys to keep the public boats out of the way of the big boys:

HMS Daring - UK:

HMNZS Te Mana - NZ:

RSS Endeavour - Singapore:

Will put more up from the bridge once I've had time to stitch together some panoramas and sifted through to find all the better shots.

Excellent. My shots came out less than great as I didn't have my tripod with me, so was hand held in the dark. This is the best of a bad bunch:

Lunch at the Watsons Bay Hotel on the other hand was much nicer. We sat under one of the brollys on the lower deck:

True statement. At the subsim meet, we had to tell TJ to tone it down a wee bit.
