Using the Generic Mod Enabler (GME) it would seem easy to change game sounds. Do you favor any particular sound packages?

These lists are very taxing on a computer. I have 8GB of ram, and use the 4GB patch by Privateer, otherwise I get a CTD without it. Thank you, this information makes me all the more curious to try the different options.
I was having problems with the mod enabler. An error message when attempting to load a mod, that It could not write the files. Then I could not close the mod enabler- it had to be shut down using Task Manager.

This was resolved by taking advice offered here: Reinstall the game in a spot other than Windows 7 program files. Thank you.
