Now this is a bit confusing still how do you mean there is no automation?? i thought you had to sink them manually anyway as you discibed before..
1. Aim at ship.
2. Press space bar to lock.
3. Press space bar to unlock.
4. Select turn tdc off (in xo box)
5. Press space to lock.
6. press space bar to unlock.
7. Aim at any part of ship and fire.

so as i understand now this is with automation? if yes wich part is then automated?

The automation that Trevally refers to gives you the possibility to execute scripted actions, available as separate downloads on this forum. It is a fetature of TDW's UI that comes handy for automatically carrying out routine duties, like approaching/leaving some harbours, setting search patterns during your patrols, having navigation fixes shown at regular time intervals (if you are using real navigation), setting up evasive maneuvers, etc.

i made a screenshot from the problem but i'm trying to figure out now for the last 45 minutes how to upload a screenshot

come to think of it i think i never ever uploaded screenshot before in any game.. hmm.
Help please? again

To upload a screenshot - the picture must first be on the internet some where.
(you can copy and past a pic from a webpage to the forum)

Take an ingame screen shot by pressing Ctrl+F11
It will save to - C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5

So I use imageShackUploaded - join imageshack (free).
install the uploaded and run

Drag your pic here - best to use jpg (edit picture and save as jpg)

Copy the link given

Click the insert image icon - paste the direct link into that box

aah txs will try that later on i'm just so happy i solved the problem myself and finally sailing out of the harbor as i type

all works and am busy dicovering what all the buttons and gauges are for and how they work
