Betonov, you forgot to mention all the wonderful exceptions, for example, when a singular object has to be used as it were dual, or some names which conjugate completely differently to the rules. And let's not forget that each verb also has to conform 6 cases, three genders and three grammatical tenses.
Yes, the joy of speaking Slovenian...I don't know a student who wouldn't be ready to murder half the country during our GCSEs due to the Slovene language exams. As much as this may shame me, the complexity is one of the reasons why I've mostly switched over to English. Far, far easier (that and most of my literature is in English). |
