Thanks for your inspiration Dowly, bought BF2 a while ago and hadn't played it so I nipped on for half an hour last night when I couldn't get on the BC2 servers. Did terribly! Maybe I should RTFM before my next venture Flying was as unintuative as it could be, and if any lesson was learnt it was don't press RMB when stationary as it drops your f*&^%$£ bomb and you die!

I'll let you know when I'm going on again, then you can easily up your K/D ratio

Sounds rather familiar....

Now I have another HD I might well reinstall BF2, if only for FH2, I don't really get on with BF2 very well, although that could just be me going on the wrong servers. Heck, I might even put BF1942 back on for old times sake, stalking carriers in Midway is good fun.
Had a fair bit of fun with FH2 though, including a lovely sniper streak from a church tower in some French village I can't remember the name of, must have got about fifteen odd kills before some sod dropped an artillery shell through the roof. For me, that's pretty damn good!

Right, was planning to shut down MC once a week and run A2, but the day is tricky. Either Dowly has classes or it's Il-2 night. Need to find the right day. Maybe some suggestions in A2 thread?

Yeah Arma2 I must get that. Problem with running a pc that can now play the latest games is I can't keep up. BFBC2, SH5, AA3 and Aion to name a few where before I start i head straight to the fridge and make sure I got enough beers. I was thinking of gettiing Starcraft 2 this week, but might flag it as I dont think I would have enough beers to support me.

ARMA's good at that, you take one shot at one bad guy and half his army drops it at your door.

Looks more like CoD than BF2.

It does? I actually think BF 3 looks rather apealing... Little less one-man army, more being part of a team.

Just a little bit of one level though, might turn into guns blazing CoD-clone after that.

As long as they stick to the concept of squad-based combat, I might actually pick this up... though the bit of shooting in there looks as generic as it gets.
