Default Problem with the readme file!!

Hello Rowi58

This looks nice indeed.....I would like to use you Work but I cannot open the readme file that is in the documentation folder!! It is an .odt format file, (ReadMe_Cargo_SH5_to_SH3.odt)
I know it is just a readme ..but I usually like to read them.

Can you help??

Merci

Hhave you tried right clicking on the file; and then choosing "open with" from the drop down menu; and finally selecting either "notepad", "wordpad", or "MS Word" from the bunch of programs listed on the box that appears?

Alternatively, you may try renaming the file so that it now reads as "ReadMe_Cargo_SH5_to_SH3.txt" and opening it with "notepad" afterwards.

IIRC, an odt file is an Open Office document. As per privateer's suggestion, you can also try opening it with Wordpad. If it still doesn't let you view the document correctly, download an Add-in for Microsoft Word that would enable it to view the file.

Download link: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/odf...se_mirror=nchc

Add-in Info: http://http://odf-converter.sourceforge.net/download.html#hDownloadOffice

Yes - it is an "OpenOffice" document. I've forgot to transform it into a PDF. But BTW - try "OpenOffice" - it is freeware and a very good programm .

Greetings

Merci beaucoup rowi58,

In spite of the fact that I really do read all readme before installuing any mods....I did not fancy having to buy a program just to be able to read this one......
When I opened it in wordpad, I could read some of it but a lot still came out crypted.....
I even tried the Enigma machine, but no way......

Thank again

Try this instead and bookmark it, the original link to Maik's archive no longer works.

Scroll down and click on ROWI58, the mod you want is External Cargo from SH5.7z

According to the documentation, it works with GWX and all supermods.

It includes one ship from the MFM, which was found to be perfect for carrying some of the larger external cargo. You don't need to install the entire MFM, as the one ship you need will be added when you add this mod by itself.
