Reading Mary Shelley's The Last Man right now. I have no idea how I lived without this thing. Think that I have found my new 'desert island' item.

Have you had one before? Gonna change the way you play sims. You're going to wonder how you ever played them without it!

Great present!

Then he wanted me to try it. Which I did, and he kept refilling our glasses and I kept saying that I wasn't feeling any buzz.

Then it hit me like the proverbial Mack truck. I ended up staying the night - just got home and OY MY HEAD.

This morning when we got up we discovered that we'd gone through almost the whole bottle.

Anyway, my prezzies this year:

A 2010 kitteh ornament
Some cute "peace sign" earrings
The obligatory pecan log
A tin of homemade shortbread (pecan & almond)
This:

(Phillips SRU5107/27 7-Device Universal Remote)

Two books:

Some DVD/BluRay:

Some Beatles:

And this surprise:

(Shun Classic 6" Serrated Utility Knife)

Handmade Christmas ornaments, a nightlight, and a framed photo of a beach on Kauai.
A book: "One of Our Submarines," a memoir by Edward Young, skipper of HMS Storm. From my girlfriend -- she's a keeper.
There's something to be collected at the post office, but it'll wait till Monday.

Among other swag I got

Ship Killers: A history of the American Torpedo by Wildenberg and Polmar (2010)

Very nice book and it contains history not found in Hellions of the Deep or Iron Men Tin Fish.

If you are interested in the history of torpedoes, I can recommend this one!

Well I brought myself a pc tho the couier I mean Santa is late I wont get it till after the christmas break 28/29 dec

I was surprised and had a feeling of dread when I was asked what I wanted for Christmas Oh man does this mean I will have to buy you one too! Oh just anything get me something you know I like. So I got 3 packets of Columbia international coffee

Ex wife turns up like she does every Christmas to drop off a present for one of the sons just invites herself in like she does and starts blabber mouthing on to us as if I'm interested about her upcoming posh holiday traveling to such and such important places cause shes such a star and a harlot then zooms off in her bmw where I pray she will lose it on the next corner, Son thanks his mum then when shes out the door he puts the present up for sale on TradeMe Auction site here. I think hes just sick of bathroom products.

I'm getting him the latest Stalker game later on in the week.
