As I walked into the Stube, I eas overwhelmed by a heaving sea of smoking jackets and tea cozies. Frau Kaleun held the biggest dance card I have ever seen.

On the piano, Balz played the Balz Balz Boogie Walz. Finished with that piece, he stood on the piano stool and assumed a heroic pose.

The aroma of Ethiopean coffee drifted from the kitchen where Bernard was using someone´s tea cozy to brew the superb beverage.

Sorry I missed it. I was busy scraping my boat off the bottom of the ocean for the fourth time this week.

It seems I was issued more than my allotted share of Bernards.
