Emtguf maybe you can work together or learn from each other.
The colour filter is a nice thing that you add.
The scope of Arclight has it too.

We are both using the same source material (Hitmans PDF)
so you will see more similarities than not.
The only real difference you will see will be the different takes at the artwork that shows our individual ideas on how it would look in the real world.
Unfortunatly neither of us ever looked through one of these scopes in a real world environment so there is quite a bit of artistic license taken, being based on best guesses.

they are both good.

I personally use and prefer Arclight's because it keeps the stock SH5 periscope station.

I would actually like to know which one works better with Dark Wraiths UI changes on a 2560x1600 (16:10) monitor.

Both scope mods look great!

I would like to see mods to add things, not change it. So far, almost all mods rush to change the visual part and UI. Not sure why as the only thing is really broken and badly need to be fixed, is the AI and script I would love to have a new attack periscope with bigger magnification rate, but no change at all on visuals and how it looks overall. Hope you guys will make such a mod someday.

The stock magnification rate has been altered in both mods to reflect historically accurate zoom rates. Both are higher than stock.

The stock recticules in the scopes are not accurate when attempting to determine distance, both mods have calibrated the optics to work correctly, and quite historically.

The Stadimeter right now is the most broken aspect of the game, and so far no one has figured out a way to make it work, so adding the new scopes allow you to accurately determine range without the need of a stadimeter.

I have patches for different aspect ratios (4:3 5:4). However if memory serves me correctly (at work can't actually check right now) my base mod I believe works with 8:5 and 16:10 out of the box. will have to check later to be sure.

Great! Please post back here when you confirm if it isn't too much trouble.

I appreciate it!

No trouble at all. Will test to see in a couple of hours. Man is it Friday yet this work week is already going too slowly...

Have you tried the 'buggy' one with the new version of the UIs? I added support for emtguf's so there should be no issue.
