Yep, again, with all the respect for all that the GWX team achieved - it's not the one and only way of working at a game and improving it. SH4 certainly proved that.
Personally I will be much happier to see a more low-key, open collaboration on it for now. Let's not gather brains just yet, let's gather mods instead. When there is a lot and packs of mods get complicated enough, perhaps we should see. But frankly I don't think SHV needs a team of superheroes - what we have here is already enough. Just look at the mod forum and you'll see where it's heading. |

Thanks for lifting the mood upwards !
...but, when I see the ocassional "torrent testers" - uninstalling SH5: for being too arcade and dumb-crew (3d-interior) disapointment... I have to ask myself - where the hell are "old imperial knights"... that could turn ugly duck into "eagle that rules" the ganre... Or just my modest, poor, sleezy question - what is the point of DRM in March 2010 ? To keep the "emergency vehicle" - far away from strugling victim: baby SH5 ? #........ .... ![]() ![]() ![]()

SH5 is only a week or so old.
Time will tell what is in the future. Im sure that SH5 will get the same modding attention as previous releases. But i will be very very surprised if it is under the GWX signature. As many have said before this Community of our holds some very bright modders and and im sure the are many that will bring great things to SH5 that have yet to surface here. Just give it time guys.
