Default So I guess it's suicide

Well, okay, you guys have me convinced that in July 1944 in a severe storm, that it's a suicide adventure.

Thanks for all the advice.

TBH July 44, leaving port is a suicide adventure,
Staying in port about the same,

Best thing to do, sail out to a nice quiet cove and sit on the bottom with the snorkel up until the food runs out before jettisoning the majority of your eels and return to port

Everyone has convinced me that it's suicide to try to go in there, especially in a storm, so I heading out to sea and heading to somewhere around the Irish Sea.

Rob,

If you position yourself about 200 kilometers NW of Freetown, it won't be long you spot a northbound convoy. You can follow it for a couple of weeks and get great tonnage

Thanks Brad

However, your advice comes too late as I came straight across to ES22 and am now heading north to somewhere around the Irish Sea.

Actually, i go for port attacks/convoy attack only until late 1942-starts 1943.
Then i only get solo ships and have some fun with flying mosqitoes around Great Britain. And a bit far of the shore aswell. I dont want a patrolling destroyer to track me.

I suggest you to do the same
And those 50k GRT belong to the past now.
