Sounds to me like you fit a profile...Perhaps you should sign up for their 'frequently screened traveller' plan...

I haven't flown since before 9-11 but I did have occasion to bring my mother to the airport a couple years ago for her last trip to visit the relatives in Germany. I brought her right up to the TSA folks and asked that they assist her in getting to the right gate. They did so and according to Ma were very helpful and respectful to her.

I guess elderly German ladies don't fit the terrorist profile.

Frankly, those "Random" checks should drop their silly pretext. It is obvious that most people who are checked are of Middle Eastern descent, seeing how it really wouldn't make sense to have random checks on other ethnicities.
