True ennough, but EA has a well earned reputation of ruining everything.

Better to look at the dim side of life, the exessive bloom used in modern video games on the bright side might cause vision loss.

It will have to move from the arcade ranks straight out to the forefront of the cutting edge of simulations, IMO, or none of us die-hard "sim types" will ever be interested in it.

It's rFactor for me, these days, although I, too, came up through the Papyrus ranks (bit of a surprise to learn you might have too, SteamWake). ICR1, ICR2, GPL, and then N2003 in my case.

"iRacing," although I haven't tried it, would be the only other possible alternative to rFactor these days, I think.
