Yesterday I pulled off what I consider to be my best convoy attack ever. We were sailing in CO 42 around 1:30 (game time), Oct. 1941. The moon was full & the sea was calm (1m waves). My lookouts spotted a 3-ship convoy: 2 Coastal Freighters escorted by a single Black Swan at about 14,000m. We raced towards it & got to within 2500m then submerged. Slowed to 1/3 to avoid detection. Targetted the first freighter with a T1 set to 8m. That torpedo detonated midships & looked like it did some major damage so I went for the 2nd freighter. Hit her just below the bow which was enough to sink her too. While I was going after the 2nd freighter the 1st one exploded & sank. Now the Black Swan springs to life and starts looking for us; guess we spoiled their peaceful Mediteranean evening.

After about 20 minutes (real time) she gave up & sailed off.

Still using GWX 2.1. Hopefully the mailman brings 3.0 this week. I've been reading all the posts & I'm looking forward to it.
