hmm, so where is the accompanying shipment of cucumber sandwiches? Someone might as well sink that too, since it's useless without the tea

What you have seen and sunk is the ship carrying the first atom bomb. After loading the bomb stolen from turkey, the ship met with its escorts. The sinking of this ship was a serious reversal for Churchill and he was non too happy when Amwericans produced the bomb later.

Dont sink it!!!

Rumor has it that Honey Hornberg and the Stuttgart Steppers have been captured by the allies and are being transported to north africa where they will be forced to entertain allied scum!

If possible, sink the escorts, board the merchant and rescue Honey Hornberg and the Stuttgart Steppers... if you manage to complete this task it will be a most interesting cruise back home!

All of these theories and rumours have great merit and are both highly probable and entertaining.

However found a RL account of Type VII U-759 (KL R. Friedrich) encountering convoy TAG-70 in the Caribbean consisting of six escorts but only eight merchants. Friedrich sank a 9300 ton Dutchman and evaded the counterattack, this occuring in July 1943.

It´s a boobie trap, a small merchant empty and heavilly scorted, the the u-boat attack tha "valuable" cargo and then the scorts start to chase the submarine.

Remember that is the Med and the things could be a bit difficult in this small sea.

i had a very interesting patrol with my IX-B boat, and was frequent see the luftwaffe in action near malta and some small convoys with troop transports and landing ships.

i remember when i destroy a troop ship with deck gun fire

Sink merchant immediately. Ship has new print of a Top Secret Tecnical Manual loaded.
Spies in Spain reported that this TM is called "Hustler Magazine".
Loss of this Prints will cause heavy negative efforts on Allied Troops.
