IMO, Sounds like a Ram or drive heating problem

You have bad sectors on your drive. Backup data. I bet your PC runs okay as long as its not doing anything that will make it sweat. Once it runs a game like SH4 you start getting curruption problems.

I dont think its the game/mods. Its your PC. Best way to tell is no matter how many reinstalls of SH4, or redownloads of mods after a few days of gamplay the curruption errors start happening. Heat problems can stay doormat until you load something intensive like SH4, then the gremlins come out to play.

I'm not sure it is heat related. I have a 120mm fan blowing right on the HDD. I have been having memory issues intermittently for a while now, but it hasn't caused any other programs to mess up (even Oblivion). With all those mods I use, I am constantly disabling/re-enabling them. I think I need help.

I can barely go a single patrol without disabling/re-enabling something. I haven't been able to do a career at all. You can safely disable/enable mods all day long while on a patrol as long as they aren't campaign related. There are so many cool mods available I can't make up my mind which ones I want to use. When I think I have a setup I like, I usually end up changing it a day later.

I have moved many GB of data. Right now I'm contemplating yet another change of setup. Someone shoot me.
