If you've ever done time in Service?
Pretty easy to imagine.

I can recall a few times.
Kit Kat Club, fight on the second floor, MP's and Local Coppers show up.
Being Airborne,
we tossed a chair through a window and jumped out!!!
:rotfl:
Ran for miles!!
(May have been just to the nearest bar, but seemed like miles!)

Personally I think smileys should be banned from this forum.

They're so immature.

I agree completely with you, Fogh. This is a serious simulation of a painful period in history. We should treat it with utmost maturity.

Hoochie-woochie.

When they were off duty they spended their time in the bars and brothels of the city. Many gave out their whole earnings to hookers which were plentyfull in the harbours of those times.
...and hopefully they didn't end up like the guys on the ship in this film did after shore leave.

Because of this thread I finally decided to order two books since I never read a U-Boot book before:

- Das Boot (of course) (I have the directors cut on DVD and the complete series on my pc)
- Iron Coffins

Looking forward to their arrival....
