The AI subs in GWX take a long time to sing boneman. You simply didn't wait long enough.

Its complicated to explain, but the damage models for the AI subs are that way for a reason.

I've sunk Gatos myself to test the damage model. They do sink. You just have to be patient.

I believe it is engine limitations that cause the ai subs to be that hard to sink.

I think in rl the torpedo would rip the sub, after all it has quite a big explosive power.BUt i guess someone with more knowledge on the matter should say.

Kaluen,

If a Gato class sub was dispatched to the atlantic anywhere during WW2 or any other time for that matter, the GWX team knows it... they know what time the capt eats his breakfast.. they KNOW. Trust me.

Im sure they can tell you the exact weakest point in the hull for optimum sinkage.

Not only do they know but the 100's of other L33t UBERS who patrol this forum also KNOW.

Personally I dont know much and I have come to learn not to question their godlike knowledge in these matters.

So next time if your cruising the the Nordatlantischer Ozean and you see the USS Nimitz its because at that moment they were sent back in time by a blackhole and we just never heard of it because it was top secret or something. :rotfl:

In other words if its in the game.. it was there then.

Well, that was the plan, but it may take us a couple of weeks extra... in part due to illness.

You found out.....this has nothing to do with GWX. It is the developers sneaking the submarines to SH3 and the uboats sneaking over to SH4 for the add-on. The cats out of the bag fellas.
