Where did you heared this? It sounds like bull.. sorry , but I don't belive this could be true. Those aircrafts are not manufactured any more.
What you wrote could be true in a moder racing game wich use existing sport car modells, but not with WWII games and military aircrafts.
Or do you honestly think that the 1.000.000 + 1 WWII games nowdays all pay to all manufacturers ??

It is very true. Nothrop/Grumman threatened lawsuits against UBI if they continued to put aircraft like the F6F in their game. That is why the Avenger was never made playable in Pacific Fighters. It has been rumored that there is a full blown cockpit for the Avenger made but it will never bee seen because of this.
