WOW!! I did some experimenting and could not replicate that situation, even starting with no damage. I always crushed before sinking that far. That's really cool!

if you have serious flooding you go down faster than at ahead flank. and i in my IXb have reached 487m with ahead flank and flooding before dieing. (see picture) it was the deepest i ever been

Your post does not make any sense. What I was referring to earlier is when a player is trying to reach the surface.

If your bow is pointed DOWN and you are at ahead flank... you will definitely sink faster.
