Is this file about the Drum or Gato class being in april 1942 or whatever hard coded ? If not maybe someone can change it to what it needs to be.

If this is indeed an error because of the date, it's most likely a very easy fix.
The availability date for a given boat is in the flotilla.upc file [Flotilla 1.UserPlayerUnitType 4] ID= F1Gato NameDisplayable= Gato class AvailabilityInterval= 1942-04-12, NULL IDLinkUserPlayerUnitType= Gato UnitTypeCommonality= 10 IDFlotillaLinkTransferTo= NULL [Flotilla 2.UserPlayerUnitType 7] ID= F2Gato NameDisplayable= Gato class AvailabilityInterval= 1942-12-01, NULL IDLinkUserPlayerUnitType= Gato UnitTypeCommonality= 10 IDFlotillaLinkTransferTo= NULL Flotilla 3.UserPlayerUnitType 5] ID= F3Gato NameDisplayable= Gato class AvailabilityInterval= 1942-12-01, NULL IDLinkUserPlayerUnitType= Gato UnitTypeCommonality= 11 IDFlotillaLinkTransferTo= PearlHarborCommand Just change the 42 to say 40 that should solve any date problems. I assume you are saying that if you start a career in say, a porpoise do a patrol return to base get upgraded to a Gato, do a patrol return to base then get retired because the Gato is actually not available. This would actually be a hard coded error but changing the date should act as a work around. Anyway just my thoughts. Cheers Last edited by shad43; 04-21-07 at 01:31 PM. |
