I agree with the first post though. The sites and sounds are amazing. Only to be ruined by the watch calling out AIRCRAFT SPOTTED and my Radar at 80000 yrds and apparently unable to see anything.

If you watch the clouds on a day you hear wind and the water is very rough, to me the clouds look very nice. The edges feather off. Although they look like they are going 300kts, the clouds look real to me on a day with extremely high winds. I have seen this phenomenon.

BTW, I had it at night with a full moon and the scenery look fantastic. Yes, this Skipper stops to smell the roses.

I've found sometimes if I go straight from high TC to an outside view the clouds are moving very fast. Sometimes the water goes jittery too. Going back to map view and setting TC, then reducing it to 1 and then going back to outside view seems to cure it for me.

Generally with the clouds it's not so much moving too quickly as seeming to 'form' and dissapate too quickly. It's like watching one of those speeded up video footages of cloud formation.

Are you guys talking about the morphing effect of the clouds or the speed at which the clouds move accross the sky?

That is exactly what it looks like We need to find a way to slow them down some
