Tried this... It created a second installation with GWX, in parallel with the unmodded 1.4b it was copied from, as expected. But it didn't change the cloud situation.

Installing SH3Cmd etc also had no effect on the missing clouds, though I don't suppose it was intended to.

Only thing now is the graphics card....there's obviously a lot more going on in game in a career especially when your leaving port

I'm pretty sure it isn't that, as my clouds are present in vanilla sh3. It's the same situation in single missions, as in a career.
