I'm not getting your point. Are you saying that conservatives are just as wild and crazy as liberals? I never knew that.

And so what would you call the grumbling of Hollywood liberals? Seems to me there is an awful lot of posturing and virtue signaling going on as well as political activism. Are they snowflakes as well?

And you still didn't say what you thought of what Ricky Gervais said. Oh you said what you thought of him but that wasn't the question.

Because he was speaking for everyone.

“If you’re mildly left-wing on Twitter you’re suddenly Trotsky. If you’re mildly conservative you’re Hitler and if you’re centrist and you look at both arguments, you’re a coward and they both hate you.”

Any thoughts?

But I agree it's retarded to call the conservative "Red" states, the liberals are the more closely aligned to commies and always have been. Some day we need to flip the Red/Blue category and get it right.

If you put butts in the seats, eyes on the screens, and bucks in the banks, they really don't care about the politics of the actors, directors, etc.; there are plenty of conersvatives in Hollywood, many of them very prominent:

Oh, I don't agree one bit. Maybe you have to be conservative to notice but Hollywood is so left it's almost off the chart. The actors, the characters they play, the stories the movies tell, all super liberal point of view.

There are a few conservatives in Lala land, but not many. I can think of two, Tim Allen and Bruce Willis. And even they are super cagey about what they say publicly, they have to be, it's public execution time if they step too far out of line.

Yeah, they worship $Green$ but their identity is Left.

Artists are almost always liberal, it comes with the territory of avoiding real work and being an artist. I'm not blaming them for wanting to act in a $200 million feature film over working in a meat packing plant or rebuilding transmissions. But that out-there lifestyle insulates them from the flyover middle America, they cannot relate.

Putting labels on people is simply not good enough anymore. "Left?" "Right?" What does it actually mean? It means nothing. It is an oversimplification designed to set simple minds against other simple minds. I'd like to hear John McCain's opinion on this. A voice of dignity. Are there any left?

Ah well, one thing is crystal clear: If the US citizens can't come up with a cogent narrative the majority of the remainder of the middle class can agree on, China and the banksters will have you for breakfast. The banksters from within and China from the outside.
