Well, at least here RAM (3 Gt) should not be the reason for the problems with saves. And I still don't feel myself too much comfortable with these "rules of thumb", even if I do my best to use them. Almost like JScones said, when you have other things in life too... then you really would like to be able to save whenever you need to do so. No matter, if there is other ship present etc. That's I would call freedom.

Sure, if you just run all the time with TC 1024... and are able to complete a patrol in single night... and...
