Yup you'd cut the planar wall of the hull from the thick of the hull that you see from the top...The same happen in rFactor cars modding, this because the engine of the game don't manage smoothing groups from the 3d model but it generating his own automatically without your direct control.

At the end you will attach the meshes without welding and you'll have a sharpened union correct?

I don't think beeing possible to make a operative carrier, with working aircraft, radar guided guns or missiles (or AA systems like Seasparow), so an aircraft carrier will be a huge target with weak defensive (some medium cannons and 2-4 CIWS AA systems). Something like that with no escort has no chance vs a heavy cruiser, torpedo Boat or why not, a submarine

hey,

i have played with the arleigh burke for some time now and i wanna try to build my own deck guns for this ship.

do you wanna tell me how to do it?

Try google warehouse for 3d models, type what your looking for. I.E naval guns and CIWS or what not. they have some decent stuff.

and if you can solve problem with enemy identification, tell us, i abandoned these ships (AB and Ticonderoga) because ship can't identify airplanes and i can't see him until they spread their eggs over my head
