“Can you believe ’15’?” one Detroit Lions defender asked after his team’s 45-10 immolation of Tebow and the Denver Broncos. “Come on – that’s embarrassing. I mean, it’s a joke. We knew all week that if we brought any kind of defensive pressure, he couldn’t do anything. In the second half it got boring out there. We were like, ‘Come on – that’s your quarterback? Seriously?’
Wow. How many games before they go back to Orton?

All Tebow bashing aside.

Steve Young sat backup to Joe Montana for years. He learned alot from him, then when it was his turn he became a hall of famer in his own right, even surpassed his mentor.

Same with the NY Giants, Simms mentored Hostetler, both won rings.

Tebow could benefit from an older veteran quarterback leading the way. Even if Denver stinks for another year or two, it can pay off, and at least keep the team "interesting" for fans.

The talent is there, the QB sense is there, he just needs a little extra training.

Look at baseball. Double a , triple a levels. Even Hockey has a minor league to hone your skills in. The NFL is like the NBA..Sink or swim league.

Where experience and mentorship can come in handy.

Your argument goes out the window because who is going to mentor Tebow? Sims and Montana were all-stars.... Kyle Orton has a horrible throw to the back shoulder on a 5 yard out pattern. Though he does grow an incredibly thick neck beard

Oh no...

I meant maybe they should get someone, even if they are on their last legs.

Your right, Orton is boooooo!
I honestly didn't take him into the equation with my opinions.

I should have stated that better.

Don't ask me who, I'm no GM

Hey CaptainHaplo! At least your not a Dolphins fan! (speaking of dying fish)
We are a YOUNG team who will grow. Honestly, next year we take the division.

As for the Dolphins - Matt Moore went to the fins from the Panthers - I like him. Always had a soft spot for the fins.

So - who sucks for Luck more - Indy or Miami?

I would have to say Indy sir.

Based on expectations. No one really expected anything from the fish.

But when Payton hurt his neck, it sunk the whole franchise. Necks are tricky things to come back from.

I got smurfed up the smurf by those smurfin cowsmurfs!

I love to see the cowsmurfs loose, but why couldn't the score be 3-6. And is it too much to ask to get one more sack and a fumble or something?

On a side note, I found zero cowboy fanz at work today.

You shouldn't be trying to get a fumble in the sack with a cowsmurf. They can be dangerous!

It's why I don't trust you.

The amazing thing is, in my 41 years on this God given earth, I have never seen a team rely so much on ONE player.

The Colts' D is absolutely terrible this year. You can't blame that on missing Peyton. I think we're seeing the inevitable decline.
