Decided to get this version of the SH series after who knows how long it being out. Waiting for it to finish download as I type.

I'm 48 years old and started out on the first SH and followed the series along the way. I live in Pennsylvania, part of the US of A and am waiting to see how this turns out. Bought it off the steam site and will see how well it works out for me.

SH3 was my favorite, especially after the Grey Wolves mod made it what it should have been on release. I dabbled with SH4 but the mod community didn't seem interested in working with that. So, I'm going to try my hand at SH5, even though I've heard some pretty bad stories about it.

Will look through the mods and see which ones are interesting to me. I play for fun and eye-candy. I salute those that want to plot their torps but that isn't my cup of tea, or Mt. Dew, depending on your beverage of choice. If anyone has a suggestion on mods for those that like great graphics and better immersion point them out, and thanks for your time.

Newbie to serious sub simming. Came from flight sim background, so it's been slow learning this completely new skill set, but I know it will come. I love gauges. Getting SH5 up to spec has been difficult.

I'd like to run other versions but have win7 x64 home premium, so I'm not sure I can get them to work. Some XP games work, some don't.

Hey yall, I'm 26 years old from Georgia. Love a good sailing sim, which has lead me back to this web page once again.

I havn't played Silent hunter games in ages. Ive always been quite the newb at them, but i just love sailing around and looking at the virtual ocean, with the occasional engagement. As you might be able to tell i seem to run out of fuel a lot. I played SH3 GWX for a good 6 months, and own SH3 SH4, and SH5. I remember playing the first silent hunter as a child. I never did figure out how to get torpedos to hit their targets, but that doesnt really matter I still had fun.

That being said, though i have not had to click it yet, i am really hoping this "call for ressuply" order from my radioman works. Could save me alot of trouble!
