Hey guys,


i have a problem with my mouse at "free look mode" (mouse right klick).
As I click right on the mouse the avatar is continuetly looking up and you have to pull with the mouse against it. If you look with binoculars at the bridge the screen stands still as normal.

A restart of the game does not fix it.
Any ideas to fix this?`

I am seeing way to many trawlers, I see more trawlers then merchants, and the trawlers behave like actual merchants. For example I saw in harbor 5 trawlers, some German some foreign countries. And I also encounter some trawlers in open see at a decent range from the coast. Anyone knows how to fix this?

There were a few problems I encountered that annoyed me very much.
So, after I completed North Western Approaches, I get the screen that would usually be displayed after you quit to menu or quit the game. Y'know, the missions, tonnage sunk, status etc? I was like, "This is strange" and I click next and the screen pops up that would usually resemble the end of a campaign chapter, a color U-boat photo with some text off to the side.

I felt like I had completed the campaign chapter way to quickly. So I reloaded and reloaded the game only to get the same results.

Any way to fix this?

TWoS campaign chapters are date controlled. They can not be ended "way to quickly"...

Default Problem with campaign transfer.

Hello,

I was playing in the Happy Times campaign when the automatic campaign transfer came up. When it came up to ask me what campaign I wished to switch to I decided to type 'silentotto' which I'm guessing messed up the game. I decided to reload the save I was at but now each time I play it fails to initialize. JSGME and everything are correctly installed so would I have to manually do the campaign transfer or is there some way to get the automatic transfer to work.

Yes...Activate campaign advance verifier addon and load some older gamesave. Also, follow instructional campaign transfer radio messages and the transfer will be probably initiated when it's time...

I've just reinstalled the game from Uplay on my recently formatted PC, so everything is clean. I followed all the instructions, including the workaround for Uplay with the various options disabled, including cloud synch, the game loads with no issues, however when I want to create a new campaign I get the "The internet connection experiences problems, and the current game session was saved. Please wait until the Internet connection is restored or press OK button to return to the main menu" error. I don't have the Campaign advancement verifier activated. Game is installed in a separate folder in C:, Uplay is installed in Programs (x86).


What could it be?

Default I dont know if this is a glitch or not.

I'm currently in the Mare Nostrum Campaign and it has just turned to May 1941. I've just intercepted a convoy and it shows American ships as hostile. My question is if this is intentional even though you aren't supposed to be sinking American ships so they'll maintain neutrality.

I have windows 10 and my SH5 version is the steam version. It is also updated to the 1.2.0 update.

According to DefSide.cfg file USA are considered enemy since 10.4.1941 (date of first American warship attack against an U-Boat in Atlantic).

Even before this, American ships sailing in Allied convoy in March-April 1941 can be considered an enemy (this is handled by the game through a fake "FreeAmerican" faction that uses American flag but is part of Allied forces)

1. Windows 10 Home Edition, Acer Nitro 5, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1650, Intel 15-9300H processor, and 512 GB SSD

2. I use the Uplay download version of the game. Silent Hunter 5: Battle of the Atlantic Gold Edition

3. The vanilla game works without problems and my game is patched to version 1.2

This is my issue:


Yesterday, I launched SH5 to find the issue above in the main menu. I couldn't exit it or anything, I could only exit the game.

I don´t know if these are the issues you could have:

Do not put Dyn Environment mod (TWoS has his own tweaked version of Dyn Environment).

The order of your Gap's EcoMod is wrong.

If you use the Food mod you could have problems if you use External Cameras.
