Hi
Often I have a little flickering in Center of View. Find no reason, why. Here my specs: Win 8.1 Intel Core i5 4570 8 gb NVidia GTX 760 Driver version 9.18.13.2049 Newer driver´s will cause problems. Does anybody knows what is the best driver for this videocard that will work with SH 5 ? Have the Sobermodlist and TDW´s newest exe patch - all works fine so this is not the reason. Thank´s for any help. |

Gauges don't work?!
Hi everyone! I just finished getting all my mods working when i noticed something. Neither my depth gauge, speed gauge or my times compression will change values, being stuck at 00, and the times compression not even showing a number. I also cannot use any dive buttons besides depth under keel, and my patch to add in decks awash has not shown up, because of the frozen layout I would assume. Here is a picture along with my mod list, thank you in advance!

I think your problem is a mod issue? You need to remove the odd ball mods to test the situation. OH II v2.5 there have been so many changes taken place since v2.2 Mods that were possibly compatible before no longer are. Already included in OH II Expanded Navies by Cybermat47 v.1.0.01 Cause of ctd’s with OHII and 7-4-2 SH5 External Cargo 1.0 Problems reported using this mod Harbour_Mod_by_HanSolo78_reworked_for_OHIIv2.4_by_ Trevally Later version includes a Torpedo fix FX_Update_0_0_21_ByTheDarkWraith FX Update 0_0_22 ByTheDarkWraith (Contains 5 Mods) FX Update 0_0_22 Torpedoes (Modified for Torpedo Failure Patches Folder 1 and Folder 3 are inside a Folder called ‘Mods.’ Select the Base Folder 1 and only the 3rd Patch Folder. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=174511 Not seen anyone using this including Sober Fix Equipment_Upgrades Date Sober V9 I would take this out for now it may be clashing with OHII The Ships That Never Were v.0.0.01 No longer an option in OHII Do not see anyone using this. Takes these out, and give it another go. its a mod issue and you do not have that many mods. SH5 External Cargo 1.0 SH5Lifeboats_by_Rongel_TDW_stoianm_v2.11 Fix Equipment_Upgrades Date Sober V9 Cerberus62 Historical Ship Equipment 1.4 Expanded navies you do not need this already in OHII confirmed. The problem I am finding when I am investigating ctd problems etc, mods being used or added are often quite old. Older mods are often no longer compatible with todays current mods like OHII and TDW's New Ui that have so much stuff already added in them. Peter

What happens when you just load stock? What was concerning looking at your Post #1748 was the large number of mods being over written by such a small mod list. Something to look out for in the future. It is always worrying if you have a number of independent mods overwriting each other rather than a patch mod which you would expect one to over write the other. Are you using TDW's Generic File Patcher? Peter

I do not think it has told us anything we did not know as I still think it is a mod compatibility issue. If you kept the same mods and replaced 7-4-2 with 7-5-0 would you get the same result? As I said before when you look at your Post #1748 it is worrying to see such a lot of over written mods which points to conflicts likely to happen, things not happening, and possible ctd’s. One last check before you start. Go to your mods folder and open the 7-4-2 base mod Can you see the Data Folder + 11 Applications? Good luck Peter
