Was a big fan of Kenny Everett so took this name from his Captain Kremmen character.

Default Your SUBSIM Forum name...

...why did you chose it?
What does it mean? Does it mean anything or have any significance in your life?
Or did your name simply arise out of 1 too many scotches and you thought: 'Yea, that sounds cool, i'll use that'?
Mine?
Feuer Frei!: Triple idea behind this one: A legendary song by a legendary band- Rammstein (my favourite band), the German meaning: Fire at Will, or Open Fire, which was a command given to the men in the German Army in WW 2 and because of my German Heritage (born there).

My username came while I was playing Day of Defeat years ago. I just picked it, ´coz it sounded good. I just realised few months ago that it actually means something.
Might add to that: I also chose it because it's so FARKING HARD TO SPELL.

ETR3=Electronics Technician Radio 3rd class
(SS)=Submarine Warfare qualified

It was my rate while I was in the Navy and I have my dolphins. The name seemed a no-brainer considering I was on subs and this is a website dedicated to subsims. The R in ETR isn't used daily in the Navy. Normally its just ET3, but I added it to differentiate myself form the 3 other ET ratings. Some rates have three letters but only two are shown, this would be an example of one.

DocWagon's competitor

I chose my handle during my first go at college, mainly to tie in with my chosen field of study. But primarily it's an in-joke between myself and a good friend - we played Shadowrun religiously back in the day.

Weiss Pinguin comes from... the white penguin conning tower emblem in SH3 Also in a bunch of other forums and games I've worked penguin into my nicknames. Nothing to do with me being an albino bird...

BTW Downly, what does your name mean?

Contrary to popular belief, I am not a Cisco Certified IT Professional I'm not even techie by occupation!

It comes from a favourite little device of mine that you see in fighter-bombers these days, called Continuously Computed Impact Point. Those of you who play modern combat flight sims will probably instantly recognize that. My roots in flight simming go to being a light bomber jockey of sorts, a preference I never quite grew out of.

It also looks a little like CCCP, which happens to be the country I was born in. It sort of lost that last 'C' somewhere down the line, which stood for 'socialist'... so go figure

Its a longified version of my last name( Beton--->Betonov )

It was a high school idea as I tried to make my last name sound russian like and it stuck

P.S. Beton translated into english means concrete
