Stupid broad, that's for sure. But you can't hardly blame all of it on her. The people who should be punished in this case are the kids' parents. If you have a 13-year old with emotional issues and you don't know about it and also let the kid freely roam the internet without overseeing her you have a SERIOUS parenting issue.

I think you're being way too harsh on the parents here... Emotional issues aren't always the parents fault. Such things are just as likely to be caused by bullying or teasing at school and not fitting in. Some kids tend to close off from their parents, telling them everything is fine or just go quiet, and parents can do little to reach their kids this way. Every situation is different and complex. There's been plenty of suicide cases that just came out of the blue, where not even the parents suspected anything.

Easy fix tho - keep the computer your kids use in an open area! at the very least, have the screen visible from the doorway.

many many problems solved

As for this woman, I'd like to say she'll have to live with it for the rest of her life, but the impression i've got of her is that she doesn't and won't regret it one iota.

From what I've read about how she went about it, it showed alot of planning and intent from day one. What makes it worse is that she has shown no remorse over her actions.

Agree with you baggy on how to keep a better eye on what you kids do on the net! Also checking on sites they visit is a good way of nipping problems in the bud.
