Working on a winter-type skin

Graf Paper asked me to do some edits to one of Wolfehunter's skins, that's something I'm finding a little difficult without the original files and layers. So I decided to crack open the old CS3 and whip something up of my own

Graf, I tried mate but I just can't get it to look the way you specified

Check this one out, it's still in the paint booth and the freezer but the work's coming along nicely so far

Like I said, it's still between the paint booth and the freezer and I still have some adjustments to do

This new paintjob looks very promising! I can hardly wait to see the finished product.

I think I might try to learn some skinning after I get my graphics apps reinstalled.

Anyone remember 1-2 years ago, someone started to make a skin that was to portrait an uboat during the winter time, you know with ice and snow covering it? Was it ever finished? :hmm:

My original PSD file are long gone for my winter camo. Hmmm I would have to fine it on my old system if its still their?:hmm:

I think I recall which one you mean....I'm currently using it as my desktop wallpaper at home and will post a screenshot tonight.

@Russ.....I'd like to see the above skin in a surfaced boat mate, if that would be possible.

Jim I was being shelled when I took those pics, it was too risky to take surface ones but hey, tell ya what, tomorrow I'll post some cause today is me and my wife's 1st anniversary so I'll be offline pretty much for the rest of the day.

Sorry those pics kind of blued out the sub, I'll toss something up soon that'll show yall the surface shots soon enough!

Need to get the deck gun iced over as well... shame I can't put icicles hanging from the barrel

Didn't like the direction that previous sub was going so I got started on this one. I'll be dragging the diamond plate back behind the anchor and I'll probably get rid of those icicle looking things from the water holes as well. Another thing is the radar stuff on the conning tower but that's just from the DeepSix skin & easily editable.

well, thats one funky lookin skin you got going...

and ur right, shrimp and catfish, followed by bear hunting....or rifle cleaning...its coyotes here, but I let my dogs take care of that
