Default Thx U GWX Team

I Am Now Using GWX SuperMod now ~N~ Am Very happy With The GWX SuperMod ~BUT~ Miss a Few ADDED Mods I had on my last supermod

I use mission editor for all my mission ~N~ Now there are NO ICE Bergs ~ So I Can not even use my other mission i made with ice bergs with GMX now ~ Because they Removed Ice Berg from The mission eidtor Library ~ I made those mission when I was Using another Supermod

ALSO Was Able To Use The Following ~ C Below:

Ekco Torpedo Boats Had Depth Charge Rack ~ That Worked

I Wish GWX Team if would work on a Mod that would include Schnellboot ~N~ Elco armed with Torpedos that WORKED ~ They Should Have Depth Charge Rack on Bow That Worked for the Schnellboot ~N~ Elco Boat ~ I Have The MOD for the Schnellboot ~N~ Elco Depth Charge Rack That Fire ~BUT~ Can Not USE the MOD With GWX SuperMod

Also ~ My Open Hatch Mod That Came with GWX that I installed with JSGME ~ Is Still Closed?

And Would Like a MOD That has The Averger Torpedo Plane that has TORPEDOS ABORAD That Work ~ Thats Why its CALLED A Torpedo plane

Any way ~ Thx U GWX SuperMod Team For Working on This SUPERMOD For All US Captains ~ Thx's Again

The icebergs weren't removed. Look into Sea/Environmental in the Mission editor.

Icebergs have been reclassified so they now work and can be spotted by your crew
Still show in the ME



Not all Elcos had DC racks
Very few infact

And NOONE has managed to get an AI torp to fire yet in SH3
Sergbuto had a workaround using a gun placed at the torp tubes and a slow firing shell to simulate a torpedo fire
Same for the Avenger
No AI torpedos

If the open hatch mod shows the hatch closed it isnt installed right or you havent instaled the correct one for the boat you are using

Thx U All Captain ~ I was in a motorcycle accident ~N~ was in hospital for 11 monhs ~ Just Got Back To Base ~ So Thx U For ALL Your Understanding my over looks on some of these threads I post ~ I'm in Alot of pain All of the time ~ Most of the time I Can't even remember my name ~ Is it ? ~ NO thats not It or Is it ? NO Thats not It Either ~ O ~ I Got's It ~ I know thats right its ~ The GRIM REAPER

Now I C The Sea/Environmental in the Mission editor ~ For some reason my ice berg mission crash to desktop ~ I'll look ~N~ find out why

I Have made Around thirdy Mission ~N~ All Work ~BUT~ the Ones that have Ice Bergs

I Did have to move my Human subs ~ because GWX is more powerful on the Fire poer of the emeny ship ~ Was Just too close ~ So moved them out of ship fire range ~ All My Human Sub Start on the surface

As for my closed hatch ~ I Captain ONLY the IDX2 Sub ~N~ I used the mod that came with GWX ~N~ used JSGME to install it ~N~ it had no Problems installing It

I tried Several times Uninstalling it using JSGME ~N~ Then Reboot ~ Reinstall MOd ~BUT~ Still no luck

I'll Try Other Subs ~N~ C if the hatch is closed ~or~ Open

Every other thing works just Good ~B~ the Hatch still Closed ~ U Don't Think my crew is Against Their Captain ~ Only Joking Around

I guess you'll have to edit your missions and put new icebergs in, to make them compatible with GWX.

Open your missions in notepad and change the icebergs

ClassName=Iceberg
UnitType=105

To

ClassName=Iceberg
UnitType=16

Save and they will play ok as long as no other ships have had the designations changed

I Tried other Subs ~BUT~ Hatch sIill closed

Mybe My crew is MUTINYING ~ they Doged the hatch Closed on their Captain ~ I'll Keel Halll Them All ~ if thats the case ~ I willl not go on deck any more ~ ONLY Joking

I Open my ice berg missions in notepad to change the icebergs ~BUT~ Search FIND for ClassName=Iceberg ~ BUT~ Menu Cann't Find ClassName=Iceberg

UnitType=105

To

You only need to change the 105 to 16
Nothing else
Perhaps I didnt copy it down right

DD has released hatches for other subs on his own both before and after GWX released

Actually the few that did have them were in the Pacific. Late in the war the took off the two rear torpedo tubes on some boats and replaced them with four depth charges. The sole purpose was to discourage destroyers from following too closely.

Default Need Mod for OPEN Control Tower ~N~ ALL Deck Hatchs

Thx Sailor Steve ~ Diving Duck Site Looks Good ~ I'll Check It Out

BUT I Am Referring Too The Control Tower Hatch being Closed ~N~ ALL the DECK Hatchs Being Closed too on ALL Subs

I'm Was not taking about the interior Hatchs being closed or opened ~ I was at the time only thinking of the above hatch being closed

Oh. Nobody has ever done a mode that opens the conning tower hatches, at least that I'm aware of.

It was discussed a long time ago, but nothing ever came of it that I heard.
