Default SH3 Sub WalkThrough?

Hi,
I'm a complete mods newbie so I have no idea waht I'm talking about!

I remember playing SH II all of the compartments were 'viewable' - is any one working on modelling the rest of the sub(s) compartments for SH3 - is it in anyway achievable - can I help?

There are no additional departments yet released
A couple of ppl are working on different rooms but over in sh4 IIRC
Will add a lot of FPS hit for very little gain IMHO
As eyecandy always nice to see
Maybe the SH4 engine is the better one for those compartments

Actually in SH2 there were no compartments at all. The 'Control Room' was a background to the Periscope View. The 'Torpedo Room' was a screen showing a couple of related dials, which some mods made to us pictures of real torpedo rooms. Same with the Radio Room. The Hydrophone Station and Captain's Bunk were separate screens, but both are much better represented in SH3.

In Destroyer Command you could go to the Engine Room, but again it was just a screen with the appropriate dials and sound effects.

SH3 is much better in that regard.

Based on the recent work by Tomi, you might well be right. As for frame rates in SH4, we'll have to wait and see.

But I'm hoping.
