Cool story but sad ending to a brilliant career. What mods are you running?

I have noticed something interesting in working on the Japanese Campaign. I don't know if it's by design but the DDs each act differently.
On the US side there are 3, Somers, Clemson, and Fletcher. I have noticed a definate pattern. I tend to attract them as I try to 'rush' testing with TC. The Somers wanders around and seems like it's lost. The Clemson speeds directly at you from 50 miles away at 200 knots (maybe 199) and knows exactly where you are. The Fletcher is always close, but can be avoided with several changes in direction, BUT he doesn't give up. He will follow you for miles. Long after the others have rejoined the fleet. I know most of this from watching with the external camera, so I can see how things develop with the groups I create, to see if I should make changes. I wonder if the same is true for the different IJN DDs? One other tidbit, the Northampton Heavy Cruiser is the first one to head for the hills every time!! I know they are suppose to get out of there and let the DDs do their job, but he is always first even before the carriers. Just some useless information. I don't know on the IJN DDs because when I play the Allied side, I don't use the external camera. At least not as a way to win. Occasionaly just to see some eye candy. Peabody
