did this take place after the aforementioned wolfpack attack?
perhaps the ships that sank went down as a result of damage sustained earlier in the fight and not as a result of damage you inflicted?

From my experience the CTD in the Mediterranean (when i was there with W@W) or the Black Sea were always with Time Compression!
And scrolling the map too fast!:hmm: With a little caution I managed to avoid that in my career before I was ordered into the Atlantic again! ![]()

![]() Perhaps a crewman was negligent with his ciggarette ![]() The CTD's did happen when I was zoomed out and using TC yes. Now this next part is ironic, considering I didnt know there was other AI german subs & wolfpacks cruising around, let alone ever seen any. I started a new game last night in a VII. (I prefer the VII's over the IX's...) Anyway I cruising west of the Bay of Biscay my watchman calls down, sub spotted at 50 degree's sir... Sure enough there was a VII off my starboard, so I cruised up beside him to say hello... it was Thompson, Thompsonnnnn!... I just thought it was pretty funny, considering the above posts, Ive never seen another AI sub in 3+ months of playing and it happens just after all this confusion on my part. Very cool! Yes Ive seen italian and british subs before but never a german one out at sea, Ive seen them when leaving ports of coarse.
But running into one out at sea that far from port was a first. Maybe tonight I'll seem one engaging a merhcant. ![]() Sorry, should have clarified that part... ![]() |
