I currently have the following mods enabled in the order i present.Is there a certain order of enabling i should be following?does the aotd bug fix go first?i have'nt enabled it 'cause i thought it caused a problem in starting the program once but i did'nt have it enabled first.the list-[gwx-alt.flot.-gwx open hatch-gwx no medals on crew-ShipContacts-RL ev2 standard-gwx 2.1 msn os lite v1.1-Rbs sh4 effects 204f1-torp.damage final-thompsons sound pack v3-bluenight map-phoenix 1957 officer icon-lutzow off.set 2-wolfhunter IXb U40 1024.] for some reason i cannot get the start at sea setting to work either thru sh3 comm.or using the start at sea v1 mod.as i said i did'nt realize there was an order to the enabling process till i read a post that included a reference to this subject yesterday on this forum.any help will be appreciated thx.

![]() That's not the easiest post to read - it's easier if you write the list as a list rather than relying on us digging the info out of the text. Here goes: One mod you don't have is BBWs GWX 2.1 fix. There's already been a thread on when to install it at: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=143514 The GWX mods and contacts should be OK. What is RL ev2 standard? Msn Os Lite won't effect gameplay as it only changes one file. The remainder are graphic and sound effects rather than gameplay, so there shouldn't be a problem there. I think the problem lies with RL ev2 standard but can't be sure as I don't know what the mod is. If all else fails, disable all of your mods then enable one at a time - that will give you the culprit.

It's not the easiest to find - you'll have to dig through the search function but is worth the patience. It's one of jimbuna's mods.

I've run into a problem,I followed the advise on the link and enabled mods in this order-
late war sensors merged camp. aotd all in one bugfix and then the rest of the graphic mods listed in the above post.the program stopped working right after the "not so long ago" message. so i disabled every mod but the three above.And it stopped working at the same point,so i disabled the aotd bugfix and it ran what is up? |

It seems that nearly everyone complaining about crashes has some issue with the "AOTD-AA-Ships-Schleuse-Bugfix" all-in-one patch or the "Community Units" mod.
There is the possibility that something in the AOTD-Bugfix has a problem and causes a conflict in the scripted campaign or with an existing model in GWX. On the other hand, it you had already started a career with the mods and patches installed in the wrong order, then fixed the ordering of the mods, it might cause a conflict with the savegame information in regards to harbors and ship positions, thus leading to crashes. All this is speculation based on educated guesses. We need BBW or another experienced GW team member to look into this.

Hopefully someone can look into the matter and give us an answer soon,I personally don't want to stop using the Community mods because it adds some really great looking ships,as does the bug fix:hmm:perhaps they can be modified to work together better by someone from the GWX crew

I do not have the comm.mod so enabled the aotd bugfix first and some gwx mods and the rest graphic's mods.when i started it stopped working during the "not so long ago" intro.after i disabled aotd it run's normally,i guess i can live without it.

If you are referring to the AOTD-AA-Ship-Schleuse-Bugfix....ensure it is activated in/via JSGME before the Community Ships mod.

I returned to port and exited disabled all mods and enabled the aotd all in one bugfix and then the community ships[d/l right after reading above post]When i started program stopped running at the same point as my above post states so i disabled aotd and the program ran normally.As an aside i enabled all my graphic and sound mods I normally use and experianced my first ctd since I started playing sh3 with gwx 2.1 running on vista 32 premium almost 6 months ago.Also i always use the cruise and attack mode buttons on the crew man.screen and have'nt had any problems.

I wish there was a definitive answer in which order some of these mods should be enabled,it looks like I'll have to delete my careers and start again minus some mods and others in different order,and countless other banana skins waitin for me

I'm using a hp laptop and can't figure out how to do a screen capture but i only had aotd and comm.units enabled and it stopped working at the "not so long ago"display.When i disabled aotd it started normally.the ctd might have been my fault i had started a new career using my mod setup including the comm.units{excellent mod have seen ships i have'nt seen before}.
Returning from my shakedown cruise it froze momentarily{which it does ocasionally when i run at my usual 128 tc}and i hit the tc button repeatedly not realizing it was frozen. Have been out for 2 weeks gt. and have'nt had a problem.But have started saving more often just in case. |

I have been consistently getting an error during loading of either the museum or a campaign. The bar stops at around 90% then CTD's with an error. this error is always the same and the error codes are always the same. the error is as follows:
Appname:SH3.EXE Modname:Kernel.dll Offset: 0001a323 Exception Code: 0x000000005 Flags: 0x00000000 Record: 0x0000000000000000 Address: 0x000000001001a323 I have just done a clean installl with only the following mods loaded in the order which was suggested here. GWX-Merged Campaign AOTD-AA-Ship-Schleuse-Bugfix St.Nazaire Community Units. The error is still occurring. If i disable the St.Nazaire and AOTD mods the game loads ok. There is a conflict somewhere and i cannot seem to solve the problem and i have tried various combinations to get it to work. I hope this information is useful to someone and lets hope that we can solve this as it seems to be affecting a number of people. |

:rotfl: I think I can help someone.. Now.. YEAH!! bARKHORN.. Ok, I had the same problem when I enabled aotd and community ships along with olce and some other mods. The problem was when I started the game with the mods the game freezed after not so long ago, like your's. I trioubled some people with what is the problem.. Like you. Well, I was pointing my nose to "mod conflict problem" and then I thought to myself, what if my computer can't handle extra ships in harbour along with graphic enhancements? So, I put 4 mb pics from misc folder from the old olce version to replace olc's new 14mb tgas and voilla, game worked.. It was just my first option.. So, you enable your aotd shleuse fix first, then community addon, and try it without your "usual sound and graphic mods".. If again you fail, your computer can't handle it(AOTD adds quite a few ships in ports, but I think it has a version where it doesn't add ships to ports).. Or I am wrong and there is a hideous conflict.. But.. I think then your game will work.. After that happens(which I am pretty shure), you have to figure out a way how to make things shiny and working on your computer.. pVT. goddie The same thing, I think.
